Pastor Tyrone A. Blue teaches and preaches prophetic sermons each week. He shares the life-changing message of the Bible in creative, practical ways with humor and relevance. He is a young visionary leader who desires to take the people of God deeper in their relationship with God. He is constantly dreaming of ways in which God can use him to advance his people in the kingdom.
Pastor Tyrone A. Blue has a tremendous passion for God’s Word couple with a love for God’s people. He has a contagious spirit of generosity that overflows throughout every facet of ministry. Having received his mandate from God, Pastor Blue became the Pastor of FMBC In June of 2008, at that time there were addition, the First Missionary Baptist Church make a difference in the lives of its members, the entire Gainesville community, the nation, and the world. His vision is uncompromisingly clear, with one central principle — to build and develop a kingdom of empowered, edified, and equipped people for God.
Pastor Blue vocationally holds a B.S. degree in Political Science, M.S. Educational Leadership, and an EdD. Educational Leadership. Pastor Blue received his Master of Divinity. Pastor Blue served as Youth Pastor at the Gt. Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church where Rev. C. J. Brown served as pastor until June 2008. Pastor Blue’s joy and balance is his family; his wife, First Lady Cynthia J. Blue; and son, Tyler C. Blue. As a dynamic ministry family, they are dedicated servants of God, and stand as a testament to what God can do in the lives of true believers. As for the journey at First Missionary Baptist Church, “the best is yet to come!”
