The purpose of the Ushers Ministry at First Missionary Baptist Church is defined by the acronym Ushers:
U = Understands that ushering is an opportunity to win souls for Christ.
S = Secure seats for our members and visitors.
H = Help to provide comfort and support to the worshipers.
E = Ensure that the service is carried out decently and orderly.
R = Receive members in the ministry who are willing to be committed “doorkeepers” in the house of the Lord.S = Serve with a smile and a cheerful manner.
